Habitat for Humanity 5K Race

The Greater Long Island Running Club is holding an all-ages 5K race with all proceeds going to Suffolk County’s Habitat for Humanity on December 14. Awards will be given for all age groups, who can partake in the fun run starting at 9 a.m. or the race starting at 9:30 a.m. Fun Run entry is $10, pre-entry is $20, and race day entry is $25. Get the blood pumping to help break the cycle of poverty. Registration is from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at Connetquot High School, 190 Seventh Street, Bohemia, on December 14.
