If you are looking to deepen your knowledge of yoga either as a teacher or practitioner, or both, look no further than your own backyard. Yoga Nanda, which is now offering classes at three locations across Long Island—in Garden City, Long Beach and Malverne—is hosting a multitude of training options throughout the year.
This November marks the start of Yoga Nanda’s third annual 200-Hour Path to Self-Realization Teacher Training, led by a team of five co-leaders and special guest presenters. This program offers unparalleled insight into many different schools of yoga. Additionally, Yoga Nanda will be hosting a variety of 100-hour teacher trainings throughout the year from which participants can choose in order to add to their existing 200-hour certifications through Yoga Alliance. Topics for these programs range from polarity to restorative to advanced vinyasa sequencing and more, allowing students the freedom and flexibility to hone their skills in a way that resonates deeply with them.
Yoga Nanda is also hosting a Kids’ Yoga Teacher Training and a Yoga Therapy Training, as well as year-round mentorship opportunities where new teachers can work intimately with experienced teachers in order to fine-tune their practice and teaching methods. In short, there is quite literally something for everyone within the growing Yoga Nanda community right now. So whether you are just scratching the surface of this practice or ready to become fully immersed in the tradition, you always have a home at Yoga Nanda.
