Wild Side Organic Bistro, in Oakdale, was voted by Newsday as having one of the top 10 best pizzas made and sold on Long Island. The reason is the attention to detail with regard to the dough, which is created with organic flower and cooked in a brick oven. “The pizzas are mouthwatering,” says customer Patty

A must try is the Funghi Pizza, which is topped with farm-fresh organic mushrooms. And for the meat lovers, there’s the Breakfast Pizza, which includes Berkshire pork bacon, Gouda, arugula, onions and three Happy Hens eggs. There is something for everyone at Wild Side Organic Bistro. What you will NOT find are genetically modified organisms (GMOs)! The food is as close to farm-to-table as you can get on Long Island, with produce, meat and dairy—all from sustainable, humane, GMO-free sources. Wild Side Organic Bistro is not just amazing organic food, it has recently expanded to include events, such as a coloring and pizza party night, price-fixed meals (at certain dates and times), and often boasts live music.
