Point Lookout Yoga Club, situated in quaint Point Lookout, celebrated its one-year anniversary last month.
The intimate studio works tirelessly to offer fun and exciting yoga workshops. One that has been a huge success is vino and vinyasa, which is focused on bringing those that practice yoga to wine and wine lovers to yoga. This signature event occurs monthly. It begins with a vinyasa class for all levels with lively music and is then followed by a wine tasting from a chosen region.
“It was an amazing experience, and I look forward to participating again,” says Catherine Driscoll, a Natural Awakenings Long Island staff writer. “So go and explore your passion for yoga while learning about regional varieties of wine.”
Vino and Vinyasa is offered the first Friday of the month (the second Friday in July). Students must be 21 and over.
