Trained at the Vidal Sassoon Salon in Manhattan, he has taught hundreds of hairdressers in the Sassoon method. Throughout his career, Kushner has owned five hair salons and his clients have included the likes of Jane Fonda, Julie Christie and Robert Pattinson.
