As more and more people suffer from chronic illnesses, the need for education and awareness of wellness is
growing. In response to this growing need, the Sayville Chamber of Commerce is holding its second annual Wellness Festival, WELLVILLE, for children and families. This year, the event will take place on July 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Gillette Park, in Sayville.
WELLVILLE activities will include health, beauty and wellness exhibits; free demonstrations and health screenings; healthy food; music; contests; motivational speakers; fitness classes; and free massages. There will also be activities for kids, including a bounce house. In addition, the event will piggyback the Airborne 5K Run/Walk; proceeds from this event will be donated to the nonprofit organization VetsBuild United Way of Long Island.
Health and wellness are truly obtainable for everyone. By making simple, easy changes, people can make improvements in their health and their life with tools and guidance that can be found all over our very own Wellville: Sayville.
