Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation and activation of self-healing.
After experiencing the transformational effects of reiki energy for her personal healing, Dr. Olga Isaeva, of Nature’s Dental, decided to get the training in this ancient technique so she could continue to work on herself as well as introduce it to the seekers of energy healing in her holistic dental practice.
Bringing reiki energy healing into holistic dentistry is like a match made in heaven. Dentists’ hands are trained to perform very skillful procedures on a very small scale—our teeth—and the hands of a reiki practitioner serve as a channel of this universal energy that flow throughout the practitioner’s hands and onto the client’s body, transmuting any blockages and facilitating our body’s self-healing properties. Many clients may find themselves more relaxed, less anxious and even fall asleep during the procedure.
Isaeva believes that reiki energy potentially can be flowing at any time, and any encounter we have is an opportunity for healing and a choice for love.
Nature’s Dental, located at 50 Broadway, in Greenlawn, offers reiki healing sessions given by Isaeva and Alicia Watkins, the newly welcomed addition to the dental hygiene team. Both practitioners are level II reiki healers and work on a donation basis. Reiki circles are also available in the office and ordinarily take place the first Wednesday of the month.
