The Center for the Alignment of Body, Mind and Spirit, in Wantagh, will host an Open House from 3 to 5 p.m., November 3. Diane Monks will lead a free guided meditation for healing from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the release of her new CDs, A Spiritual Journey to Healing and A Gentle Journey.
Attendees will have the opportunity to consult with the Center’s staff of health care professionals regarding chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, Reiki, nutrition counseling and spiritual counseling. Psychic Medium Kim Russo, known as The Happy Medium, will be available to speak with visitors.
During the Open House, the Center will collect food donations for Long Island Cares: The Harry Chapin Food Bank, which provides emergency food where and when it is needed, sponsors programs that help families achieve self-sufficiency, and educates the general public about the causes and consequences of hunger on Long Island. The Center collected 850 pounds of food at their last event and hopes to reach 1,000 pounds during this one. Attendees who bring a donation will receive a $10 gift card that can be used towards services offered at the Center. Donations can be dropped off during the Open House and during normal business hours.
