The Integrative Healing Center, on Inspiration Wharf, in Port Washington, will add a new adjoining space to the current center, creating a one-stop shop for all of Long Island’s physical, mental and spiritual wellness needs.
Comprehensive, integrated medical care is the backbone of this wellness center. Kristine Blanche, founder and owner, and Danielle Roberts, medical director, understand that the key to wellness includes a whole being approach to living, growing and healing. “The new space will give us the ability to offer an expanded new calendar of health and wellness programs and events for individuals, families and companies,” explains Blanche. “These programs will provide the practical tools and experiences needed to guide people toward their optimal health potential, physically, mentally and spiritually.”
The expansion was inspired by the consistent success and transformation of the patients of the Integrative Healing Center. “We are creating a collaborative community that can provide these transformational experiences to more people and touch more lives, families and communities,” says Roberts.
Comprised of experts in a wide range of health and wellness specialties, the center’s health professionals will work as a team in a retreat-like environment. Specialists include integrative medical doctors, registered pharmacists, certified health coaches, a holistic personal trainer, Reiki practitioners and a prana yoga instructor. Like-minded health practitioners from nearby communities will be invited to host workshops and events at the center throughout the year.
