Teacher training provides a platform for both personal development and community sharing. Emerge Yoga & Wellness’ program is unique, as it incorporates wisdom from various healing modalities (including massage therapy, Reiki, life coaching and other forms of energy work) bringing to life the teachings of yoga in a modern and applicable way.
Furthermore, in this program participants will learn the history, philosophy and methodology of yoga; discover tools to intelligently sequence and instruct group and private classes; explore the ancient wisdom behind this modern practice; and integrate intelligent theory into mindful living.
The 200-hour teacher training program is created to accommodate both the dedicated practitioner and simply curious student to delve deeper into the practice of yoga at his or her own pace. The full program is designed to be completed in four months for anyone looking for an intensive experience; however, with the introduction of a module format, those that are excited to learn more, but due to work and/or personal commitments have restrictions in their schedule, are able to complete the program over an extended timeframe that honors their already busy lifestyle (by finishing modules throughout two or more trainings).
