Diana Calise was once an actress and fitness model. A former film major who worked as an extra, she worked hard to pursue her performance craft only to find that it left her somewhat unfulfilled.
Calise found the business of acting difficult and knew she needed a change. She was aware that she wanted to utilize her artistic and creative side to create products for the home. Calise had always been a fan of the Yankee Candle Company until she began to see that the fragrant candles she loved so much were created from things that as an asthmatic she did not want in her own body.
The idea that she could create beautiful, fragrant and nontoxic candles for others set in, and she began to work on her candle blends.
