Water is one of nature’s most important gifts to mankind. Water is essential for life and controls virtually every aspect of our health. Our body is more than 70 percent water. It is recommended that you drink at least half of your body weight in ounces of pure, fresh water each day. If you weigh 150 pounds, this means that you need to drink at least 75 ounces of water. If you drink coffee or other caffeinated beverages, you will need to drink significantly more, as these products cause you to lose water from your body.
