The seventh annual Gaia’s Essence Women’s Wellness Conference will be held September 19, from noon until 8 p.m., at Islandia Marriott, in Islandia. For the past six years, the event has been a source of empowerment for women on Long Island. This year’s theme, Your Perception, Your Reality, reminds us of the importance of our beliefs in creating the world around us and how it affects our health.
The conference, which continues to grow, is one of the top events on Long Island specializing in women’s health and wellness. This year, the conference has expanded to include more exhibitors as well as a new Author Alley section featuring local authors. Another exciting addition is the Gaia’s Kids’ Room—an exclusive area for kids to attend cooking classes conducted by Whole Foods, as well as mommy and me yoga classes, hula hooping, art classes, and music and science classes taught by some of the area’s top teachers.
