Theresa Novak is registered by the Yoga Alliance and is also a certified stand-up paddleboard yoga (SUP) instructor. A local who grew up on the East End and follows the sunshine in the winter, she believes something magical happens when yoga is practiced in the outdoors—breathing and being in harmony with beautiful nature. This summer, find her at the Hayground School Farmers’ Market on Fridays for complimentary intervals of yoga practice, breathing techniques and a guided relaxation meditation. This is offered to children ages 3 and older; parents and other adults are also welcome.
She also offers weekly beach yoga/SUP yoga classes and privates as well as specialty classes, such as sunset/full moon yoga and paddleboard yoga. Group yoga parties are also available at a location of an individual’s choice.
