This spring, Fuel the Soul Yoga invites you to take a journey with other inspirational yogis looking to embark on the path of yoga. A 200-hour Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher Training, you will first learn the foundations and history of yoga, its roots, origins and meanings, the eight-fold path and how to infuse these into your practice and teaching.
Students will learn to identify and read their own students’ bodies in motion. Participants will gain an understanding of anatomy and body mechanics to become an effective teacher both in group and private settings. Together, students will practice and learn the art of deep breathing (pranayama) and meditation (dhyana). Training will touch upon restorative, kids’ and yoga therapy as inspiration for furthering one’s studies in these specialty fields as well.
Fuel the Soul Yoga will welcome specialty expert guest teachers covering topics from anatomy and physiology to cranial sacral therapy to Iyengar yoga to yoga philosophy, and will feature the opportunity of learning different styles, including Sivenanda, Ashtanga, restorative and Vinyasa yoga.
Students will have the unique opportunity to go through the process of teaching as they learn and develop their confidence and knowledge as not only students, but as actual teachers of this beautiful and timeless practice.
