Patti Alcamo, The Holistic Mediator, unveiled a free webinar entitled, Empowerment in the Face of Conflict, on April 25. It is currently available on her website and can be viewed at the convenience of the viewer.
Offering simple tools for creating peace in each person’s lives, the idea for the webinars came to Alcamo after a breakthrough moment last fall. She explains, “ I spent a lot of time thinking about this issue: even though every person struggles with conflict perhaps daily, most people will never hire a mediator or a conflict coach to help them. That is a lot of suffering related to conflict and we all know how painful conflict can be. Also I hate that many are unable to get help due to financial limitations. Then I realized that there a ton of skills I’ve learned that could really help people address conflict on their own. So I started doing some workshops and now turned them into a webinar format so more people can access them very easily.”
Serving as a lawyer and mediator for 13 years, Alcamo learned a great deal about conflict but she has dedicated her life and her business to serving her clients holistically. “My practice is about providing support to people in conflict in a holistic and healing way,” explains Alcamo. “It is about helping them become empowered. It is about helping them transform their relationship to conflict and create peace in their lives.”
