Back in 2006, Dr. Kristine Blanche worked with many 9/11 rescue workers that had health issues after working on the cleanup of the twin towers. “These men and women were full of toxins. They needed to detoxify, so I put them on a detox, and they started to feel better,” she recounts.
Treating 9/11 rescue workers was a very dramatic experience for Blanche. She says she saw her patients’ health transform after completing the detox and realized we are all toxic to some degree.
These 9/11 workers were some of the most toxic people Blanche had ever cared for. They would routinely say: “Doc, I know I am dying.” Then 30 days after the detox, they would bounce into her office, one after another, saying they felt like they were 18 again—and their lab work showed it too.
It was then that Blanche realized anyone that is feeling sluggish, unmotivated and tired, most likely has a level of environmental toxicity that needs to be released.
