Annie Appleseed Project announces its 13th Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Cancer Therapies Conference, to be held February 28 through March 2, in West Palm Beach. The event features informative speakers, an exhibit hall, organic meals, fresh-squeezed organic juices, giveaways, a yoga class, a movie night, and much more.

“The Annie Appleseed Project has been providing information on lifestyles [and]complementary and alternative (holistic) cancer therapies online since June 1999,” shares founder Ann Fonfa. “One part of the mission is to report on educational cancer meetings so that others know what studies are being done and if changes are happening.

“We help people begin to make healthier life choices,” adds Fonfa. “We’re not health coaches; we are cancer patient advocates in an all-volunteer nonprofit. We study the evidence to bring to you. If you are currently receiving conventional treatment for any type of cancer, we have an evidence-based handout for reducing toxicities, downloaded from our website. There’s also one specifically formulated for pediatric.”

Cost: $279 for entire event. Registration is required. For more information or to register, call 561-749-0084 or visit AnnieAppleseedProject.org. Professionals can receive up to 13 hours of CNEs and CEUs.
