Wrestler’s Porridge

Breakfast Porridge, is called Wrestlers Porridge at our house because when my son wants to lose weight for wrestling, I don’t let him skip meals…I do let him skip the “process”. So it is nothing but clean eating, which gives him power, strength and slims him down.

2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil-heated in a skillet

1 Banana slice up and set in the oil until light brown on each side

Remove bananas from the skillet and put 1/4 cup of raw nuts in skillet to warm

Place nuts, bananas, 1 teaspoon of raw natural peanut butter in a bowl and add

Handful of blueberry’s or strawberry’s and sprinkle a drizzle of raw honey over the top and

Viola Wrestlers Porridge!

Option: If you include dairy in your diet ad a teaspoon of greek yogurt

 

This meal will stay with you all day, giving you the strength to wrestle for 4 hours on a mat or for a morning at work or at home (which sometimes feels like 4 hours of wrestling!)
